Why: Part of our mission here at Wondern Awe is to promote and nurture the love and joy of artistic pursuits. For this reason, we are announcing the second annual Paint + Draw with Wondern Awe National Homeschool Art Contest!
Who: Any child currently being homeschooled in the U.S. ( traditional or virtual charter school) grades K through 8.
What: Create an original piece of work of art that answers this year's theme:
“The Alphabet”
Categories: Entries will be judged according to grade, each category will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. These are the 3 categories:
Grades K – 2 Draw + Color In One Letter P+D BOOKLET k-2
Grades 3 – 5 Draw + Color In One Word P+D BOOKLET 3-5
Grades 6 – 8 Design an Alphabet P+D BOOKLET 6-8

How: Your artwork should also meet these requirements:
Art work should reflect the theme assigned to age group. Please use the FREE printable sketch-booklet that we designed to help guide your student through this art making adventure! We hope you will use this as a mini- art lesson and suggest that it would make a wonderful addition to your portfolio!

Any homeschooled student in grades K – 8 can participate.
Entry must be on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (you may also use the FREE printable templates available for each category)
Art work may be created using any medium (pencil, marker, crayons, colored pencil, paint, markers, etc.)
Art work must be created from the student’s imagination or through direct observation. (No copying! See contest rules for details.)
When: (Deadline) All entries must be post-marked by Monday, April 30, 2018
